What are error limited classes? The error limit classes are graded in the strict hierarchic ratio of 1:3, whereby E1 is the most exact and M1 the least exact weight class.

Error limits (tolerances) These indicate to which plus and minus extent a weight may deviate from the nominal value. The error limits are according to the measuring uncertainty of the weight if a calibration certificate (DKD Certificate) is not available.
